We are a French family of four (2 children 11 and 14) who woud like to exchange our large newly renovated apartment, ideally located in central Paris, for a nice house (with pool if possible) in the San Francisco-Berkeley area.
Period: two or three weeks starting Aug 3rd, 2009
Our apartment is in rue Saint-Fiacre, near the Montorgueil pedestrian area, walking distance to Opera and theater area. 3 metro lines (3, 8 and 9) and several bus stations nearby. Optional car with parking in the building.
Sunny, 4th and 5th floors with lift, facing South, very quiet. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, one study with free telephone/Internet access and a large dining room. Fully equipped kitchen.
Located in the heart of Paris, The Montorgueil area offers large number of quality food stores, open vegetable and fish stands, and small specialty shops, as well as a wide range of all budgets' restaurants, designers galleries, trendy shops for fashion victims. It is also a few steps away from Les Halles, Paris biggest shopping mall on four levels. Many of the Parisian points of interest such as the Centre Georges Pompidou (Beaubourg), the Seine River with its famous islands - Ile de la Cite and Ile Saint Louis, the Louvre Museum, and the City Hall are within walking distance.

Room wanted from January/February - July 2009
I will be doing an internship in Paris from January 26 until the end of July 2009. During this time I am looking for a room in a nice flat, house or similar. It should be furnished, located close to public transport (Metro...) and wireless internet should be included. The rent should be a maximum of around 650 EUR all included.
I am German, 24 years old and studying business administration in my last year. Besides German I also speak English and Spanish fluently as I spent half of my studies abroad. My French skills are basic at moment because I havent spoken it for 6 years, but I hope to improve them quickly. I am an open minded person and used to live together with people from all over the world.
I would prefer to contract from January 26th, but I don't mind if it would be a little earlier or later. Just send me an e-mail if you have a room available and we could discuss matters further. Thank you in advance!
